The Bergeron Collection

The French Classical Style of Turning has been used often in the making of Magic Apparatus over the years and can be found in Magic Sets & Individual Pieces in great collections throughout the Magic World...usually marked out by the common choice of Fruit Woods or Box Wood and complimented with Ebony Finials & Bases...

L.E.Bergeron, a French Author, Turner & Lathe Maker published in 1816 a 'Manual for The Amateur Turner'...500 pages plus...of detailed drawings relating to the making of Rose Engine Lathe Turned Apparatus, Machinery & Techniques...we happened upon this volume by chance and discovered a wonderful collection of Magical Apparatus...

This Brand New Collection features “The Bergeron Blanc” Issues, these Vases are made of Box Wood with the Traditional Ebony Stems, Bases & Finials...The Ebony Inlay Five of Hearts Stamp will be found in the base of “The Bergeron Blanc” Vases...Included in this wider Collection... "The Bergeron Noir" Ball Vase, Coin Vase & Chamber Vases are further issues from this Brand New Collection for 2007...Paul Coker.. has added his own signature to these particular vases by using African Blackwood & Bone. The Vases reflect the French Turning Style and feature the distinctive 'Multiple Beading' on the main body of the vases, but are quite unique in that they have been made from this beautiful black wood and trimmed with Bone, this combination of materials being new to Magic and adding an original take on these Classic Magic Apparatus…The Vases are marked on the underside of the base with “The Coker Stamp” giving authenticity to the maker and Five of Hearts Magic.

*This Collection of Vases have been re-created faithfully from the original drawings and we would draw your attention to the fact that many of the Chamber Vases were designed to hold Millet Seed or Grain, we have strayed from our Historical Origins in this Collection and also created a Ball Vase & A Coin Vase for the sake of Magic Interest, albeit that we are historically incorrect.
